More pics of the new house

The AWESOME stove. I love this thing!!!

The (messy) kitchen

This is outside our side door in the kitchen. Can you see the little park? Perfect for me and Ellie, well when it warms up about 30 degrees!

The trashcan

Shower hooks

Soap pump and toothbrush holder.

Cool towels.

The sink area.

The kids bathroom.

The downstairs bathroom that is on the left when you walk through the front door.

This is the entry way. The big closet on the right is where the hookup for the washer/dryer is. If you turn to the left that is the kitchen.

This is our backyard.

Here are some pictures of the house. We don't have anything inside right now so it looks kinda funny. I took pictures of all the bathroom stuff for Liana since she is the one who loves penguins and got Jay to love them too. Gotta love Target, they had the cute bathroom set. :)
I will post more pics later. Some of the rooms were just too messy to take a picture. Hopefully we will get our stuff in three weeks.

First day in Maryland.........and new house!!

Our new house.

No furniture! As you can tell we hit up Target right away. :)

We woke up to frost!!! It was cold.

We woke up the next day and made an appointment to meet with the housing office to see about getting a house. To our surprise, and God's goodness, we were able to see two houses and pick one. We had the option to move in as soon as....now! Awesome. We moved in the next day and got our first shipment and cable all hooked up. All within 4 days!!

Part 3

Virginia welcome center.

We stayed the night in Tennessee and got up bright and early to finish up the trip. We made it to Virginia but had a long way to go.

We made it to Maryland at like 11:30 pm. We were exhausted but so glad that we made it. We have been without a house since December 1st so it was neat to get here to get started on our new life.

Part 2

More pictures of Tennessee.

The land here is so pretty. The houses are huge and there were cows and horses everywhere.

There was snow on the tree tops. Very beautiful.

On the way to Nashville.

We stopped for the night in Tennessee and the hotel was near Loretta Lynn's restaurant and gift shop.

It was too dark outside to take a picture while driving so I had to take a video.

On the way to Maryland.........finally!

Hope, Arkansas birthplace of Bill Clinton.

Inside the welcome center in Arkansas. The fire felt so good, it was freezing outside.

Yeah we made it to Arkansas!!

Here is the sign for Texarkana, and on to Little Rock.
We left at about 0830 on Saturday morning to start our cross-country car ride. Texarkana was the first large marker on the map. I am such a dork that I wanted to take a picture of every state sign. :)

Heading out to Saginaw, TX

Jay and Kyle playing Legos.

Ellie and Sara getting ready for bed.

Terry's house

Leaving Converse, Texas

Getting in the car and saying goodbye.

Making sure the DVD players are hooked up and working correctly.

Our UHAUL

Sandy wishing she could go.

We left my parent's house on the 9th of January to start our adventure to Maryland. We planned it so that we could stop at our friends' house. They lived in Okinawa and moved to Texas almost a year ago. It was nice to see them and let the kids play together once again. We only stayed one night so that we could get going. Thanks for letting us crash your house!!

Grandma's birthday

Liana made this yummy mandarin orange cake per mom's request. It was really moist and scrumptious.

Steak and chicken

Grilled Shrimp

Happy Birthday Grandma.

We were blessed to have the opportunity to spend my mom's birthday with her. We had to celebrate the night before since we were going to leave the next day. We decided not to go out to eat so we made Ricardo grill for us. The food was so good and we all had a good time. We love you Grandma!

"The Bouncy Place"

Ellie on the Batman slide

The Sesame Street bouncy

Cool Cars slide

Fun slide

Ellie loved this one of course.
Poor Ellie had been talking about going to Monakids Jungle and we kept trying to explain to her that we cant go because it is in Okinawa. The kids were really bored one day so my mom and I took them to this place in the mall. It was pretty cool. They had alot of fun and slept well that night. :)
