The french braids. 
Amelia and Elena, I got them to stay still by giving them suckers.My sister Toni and I both have little girls. And neither one of us is really good at combing little girls' hair. My mom had 3 of us girls so she is a PRO. She had the chance to show us how to do some nice hair-dos. After the first day Ellie no longer wanted Grandma to do her hair.....too painful. I feel you Ellie, it took me back to my childhood days! Just kidding we always looked pretty and put together.
